Armin Widmann, Principal Architect
Armin Widmann has twenty+ years of experience as a project manager for multi-million dollar public and private sector projects. Armin’s expertise is in master planning, design, contract and construction documents, building inspection and analysis, and construction administration. His strength is the profound knowledge of all project phases and his ability to work with all team members from planning to post-occupancy to ensure a smooth integrative process throughout the course of the project.
As one of the founders of ATELIER 08 and a licensed architect in Arizona and Germany, Armin has experience in residential, high-rise buildings, commercial, mixed-use, hospitality, restoration and historical preservation.
His understanding of the design as well as the technical aspects enables him to help define solutions suited to the unique business needs of his clients.
He approaches projects holistically and strives for a high level solution to satisfy the clients expectations.
Paul Michaud, LEED AP
With 20 years of business experience in client relations and operational management Paul Michaud understands how to listen to the client and process their vision into an efficient and effective solution. As a LEED Acredited Professional Paul’s background and design experience in architecture, master planning and landscape architecture ensure a seemless and holistic approach to design that is strongly responsive to the environment.
As one of the founders of ATELIER 08, Paul has experience in single family and multi-family residential, high-rise buildings, commercial, mixed-use, and hospitality with a strong emphasis on resort master planning and architectural design. Primarily focused in the United States and Mexico market, but with experience in the Carribean and Canada, Paul has been a key figure on many destination projects.
With a passion that resides in the understanding of the psychology, culture, and site characteristics that allow each person to experience their surroundings and develop a sense of place Paul is keenly sensitive to how design affects and shapes one’s environment translating into a design with an embodied energy and a holistic approach.
